This post is our first as we begin purposeful plans for Boyce Ditto Public Library.

Our Background Story: After four difficult years of managing an enormously limited budget and managing staffing irregularities because of this, the Boyce Ditto Library Board and Library Manager have identified a mutual understanding of how this city and community benefits from a great strategic plan.

Why do this?

• Because it gives our community the cultural identity that attracts great citizens to our city.
• Because it helps us focus on your own ideas about how to grow the library while the community also grows.

I am including a link to the new BDPL Strategic Plan. Please review this and be sure to tell other people about it as well. And if you are able, please also look at the appendix explaining our decision process and our organizational analysis.
